Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy and Time
We never ship incomplete or "short" orders without your permission.  We know that the success of your project depends on getting your fabrics in the right quantities.  Most packages are shipped within 24-48 hours of your order  (not including the day of the order or weekends/holidays.) Please include your phone number and use an email account that you use every day so that we can contact you regarding any problems.

FOR STANDARD DELIVERY -- Delivery time is 7-10 business days.  For Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO orders, please allow 21 days.

FOR USPS PRIORITY DELIVERY --  Delivery time is 3-4 business days. This is the policy of the post office.  However, with the increase in on-line shopping many Priority Postal Deliveries are delayed.  This is a post office issue and we have no control over it.  USPS Priority is still our preferred method of shipment and we will use it whenever possible.

We do not ship without  a confirmed way to track your package. USPS Ground has increased in popularity and we can track and insure (up to $50.00) your package. Generally we can ship small items up to a pound for $5.00. However, it does increase delivery time by 1-2 days. We can also ship by regular Ground for about $3.00. This does require a voice-to-voice (no email) conversation with us and we WILL NOT assume any responsibility regarding delivery. Postal theft is on the rise so consider the downside before suggesting this option. 

We track every package we send and you are sent a tracking number. If you submit a false email address you will not receive a tracking number. Also, if you don't receive a tracking number within 3 days of your order, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

UPS -- If you prefer UPS, please email us and your shipping rates will be recalculated.  You will be responsible for up-charges past the website estimate.

FOREIGN COUNTRIES:  We use only USPS Priority to ship to foreign countries -- no exceptions, no private carrier pick-ups.  DO NOT ASK!!  Your order will not ship until your credit card has cleared.

NOTE: Canadian shipping rates are slightly less than the international charges calculated with your order.

PAYPAL ORDERS -- We cannot ship to a post office box number unless you are a PayPal “confirmed” buyer.

Shipments will be sent via USPS or UPS, whichever is most efficient and cost effective.  It is not our intent to make a profit on shipping charges.  If the website over charges on shipping, your credit card or PayPal account will be refunded the difference.

If you have a certain carrier preference, please e-mail us at  sewinspiredquilts@mchsi.com with that request or any other questions that you may have.  Again, we do not work with private carriers -- DO NOT ask.

The following shipping charges are estimates and are subject to change.  They do not apply to knits, laminates, or backings.  We regret that we no longer offer the service of rolling laminates to ship.

These prices apply only to regularly priced goods and are not valid during SALE days.
